A Cord of Three strengthens families by providing stable housing and essential care. Recognizing that many families face severe economic and social challenges, the organization steps in to ensure basic needs mostly of our students are met. These include food, healthcare, and secure shelter. This support helps create an environment where children can thrive and families can regain dignity and hope for the future.
I remember the many days as a small boy lacking so many things- not enough clothes on my back. I remember gazing at the starry skies not for fun, no! The thatched roof had gaps, was old and leaking and it needed to be replaced. I remember the days when there was no food on the table. My mother, being the industrious woman she was, she would go and cultivate in other people’s land to get money to provide food and even the needed pencil for class. Today I own a home! My prayer is that A Cord of Three will help other families to also settle in dignified, and God-honoring homes.
Isaiah 58:7: “Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?”
