This pillar focuses on empowering youth by providing access to higher education. Many beneficiaries come from underprivileged families, and A Cord of Three steps in to support their dreams. By funding college education, the organization equips students with the skills and knowledge to lead purposeful lives, create sustainable futures, and positively impact their communities. Fields of study include nursing, engineering, education, medicine, and more.
When we talk about education for young people, I can relate to this very well. I was there once! My father struggled to educate my siblings and me. Many times, we were sent home because we lacked one thing or another including school fees. When I joined high school, I could not even afford the required pair of shoes. One of my missionary teachers gave me one of his pairs and it was bigger than my feet. I am grateful that God placed significant destiny helpers who made sure I secured a high school and a college education. We want A Cord of Three to help these students cross to the other side. Yes! Cross over to the other side for themselves, their parents, their siblings, the community, the church and the world!
